Chrysler Group LLC, the top U.S. automobile manufacturer has its headquarters in the Detroit suburb of Auburn Hills, Michigan. In January 1924, Walter chrysler unveiled the first chrysler automobile that was well received. It was a 6-cylinder automobile, an advanced, well-engineered car, at a very affordable price. Some of the Vehicle brands include the Chrysler — Passenger cars, minivans and crossovers, Jeep — SUVs and crossovers, RAM — Trucks and commercial vehicles. Chrysler now focuses on electric-drive vehicles and other such technology driven vehicles.

The new ENVI division is just for the new all-electric and hybrid vehicles. The wide ranges of green vehicles were showcased in the Detroit Auto Show. The Dodge ZEO (zero emissions operation) is an electric sport wagon that combines a lithium-ion battery pack with a 200-kilowatt electric motor. It also has a plug-in version. The Chrysler ecoVoyager can travel roughly about 40 miles (64 km) on just battery power and can accelerate to 60 mph in less than eight seconds. The Jeep Renegade combines a lithium-ion battery pack with dual 200 kW electric motors on each axle and can travel a distance of 400 miles with a 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder clean diesel engine. It is planning three more hybrid vehicles, the Chrysler Aspen hybrid, Dodge Durango hybrid, and the Dodge Ram hybrid.
